Morty Taylor established Morty’s Pub on the corner of King Street and University Avenue in 1981. Back then the pub sat 76 people and quickly became a comfortable local hangout.

On July 27th 2000, we moved to our current location. Movers weren’t in the budget, so the day before the big move, our family, friends, staff and loyal customers grabbed tables and chairs and walked the 300 or so steps up the street to where we are currently located (272 King Street North)

Since the beginning, we have hosted millions of guests, prepared tens of millions of chicken wings and have been a place where the Kitchener-Waterloo community feels at home.

We are proud of the many unique homemade items on our menu like the daily soup, panzerottis, pizzas, 10oz burgers, lasagna and of course chicken wings. We consistently strive to deliver a memorable and fun experience with great food and service. Three decades later we are still an independent family-owned business.

Morty’s is like a home for many of us, and we hope that you feel at home when you’re in our home.

Caudle’s Catch Seafood is a local family business. Started in 1986 by Ron and Sylvia Caudle, with backgrounds in business and Ron being from Halifax, they saw an opportunity to start a seafood business.

From humble beginnings and lots of hardships, they grew from a five-hundred-square-foot retail store to a national distributor. They have a strong retail presence in the Waterloo Region with booths at the Kitchener Market, St. Jacobs Market and Cambridge Market. Caudle's Catch is also supported by a retail Superstore and a counter in Vincenzo’s.

Caudle’s are big believers in giving back to the community that has supported them over the years. They have supported all of their community hospitals in numerous ways believing this helps employees, customers, friends and family.

They have innovative plans with the Foodbank of Waterloo Region to supply fish products as protein diversity for our growing region. They also help Rotary Clubs [Lobsterfest], Kidney Foundation, Special Olympics, Chamber of Commerce Doctor Recruitment and support many other charities. Ron sits on numerous boards in the community and chairs a Deer Ridge golf tournament that supports local kids charities [#CaudlesCares].

Waterloo Bike Shop is a “LifeStyle Bike Shop” in the Lakeshore Village area of Waterloo, Ontario. We have a highly trained service staff, WBI, and Shimano trained. We are a family-run bicycle shop so you are always dealing with one of the owners. We started our business in 1997 and opened the shop in Waterloo in June 2018.
 
We sell new bikes, parts, and accessories, as well as repair and service all makes and models of bikes. We pride ourselves in going beyond the typical repair by informing you, the customer, what can be done to make your riding experience more enjoyable, and visit the repair shop less often. This means we want to see you less often for repairs and more often for upgrades. We also offer a pick-up and delivery service.
