Civic Membership

A Civic Member is someone who chooses to go beyond simply attending meetups and actively support the continued growth, sustainability, and impact of the Locally Connected Community Hub. While Social Members participate for free, Civic Members help shape the future of the Community Hub through their annual contribution and shared commitment to stronger, more connected communities. Civic Memberships help support volunteer coordination, meetup growth, community outreach initiatives, youth and elder engagement, local partnerships, community-based initiatives, technology platforms, marketing and community awareness efforts, podcasting and storytelling, and the creation of safer, welcoming spaces for meaningful connection.

  1. Attending Meetups is subject to the individual capacity of each Meetup venue. Online registration is required in advance to guarantee admission.
  2. Blog submissions must be approved before being posted online.
  3. 1 x lanyard name badge provided at membership activation. It is the responsibility of the member to store the lanyard in a safe place. Replacement lanyards are available for $5.
  4. Registration to Semi-Annual Speed Networking Events is on a first-come, first-served basis. 
  5. Sponsorship opportunities are subject to availability and require a separate sponsorship fee.
